Racquet sports professionals and others in the racquet/paddle sports industry can register for free for the 2020 Racquet & Paddle Sports Show, Jan. 21-24, in Orlando, Fla., at RacquetPaddleSportsShow.com.
The second annual RAPS Show will bring together industry leaders, sports professionals, facility suppliers and product manufacturers from around the world for four days of merchandise sourcing, product testing, education and professional networking.
On Tuesday, Jan. 21, there will be a curated “One2One” buying summit at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, and a Demo Day at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona. The Show Floor, co-located with the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center, will feature more than 200 comprehensive exhibits, multiple demonstration courts, two industry presentation stages and the Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference, Jan. 22-24.
“After a tremendous response to the inaugural event in 2019, we are excited to renew our collaboration with industry stakeholders to build the Racquet & Paddle Sports Show to grow all aspects of racquet sports,” said Elizabeth Reed, the senior director of industry development for Reed Exhibitions and the RAPS event director. “In 2020, we are expanding in multiple areas to address industry trends and market needs.”
Among the additions will be a “Pop-Up Retail Talks” area, a new focus on fitness, performance and nutritional products on the show floor, and additional exhibit, demonstration and educational space devoted to racquet facility construction and court renovations, Reed said.
The RAPS Show will again include the Tennis Industry Association's annual TOM Conference, featuring industry presenters on topics that include Facility Operations, Event Management and Hospitality, Marketing/Promotions, Innovation and Technology, Administrative and Professional Services, and more. TOM sessions also are eligible for PTR and USPTA continuing education credits. Separate TOM Conference registration is open simultaneously at RacquetPaddleSportsShow.com, offering early pricing incentives.
